Just a quick jaunt north of Boulder, it’s easy to access for clients while providing a uniquely serene tattoo experience, away from the city buzz and surrounded by nature.

Completed sleeve with @soulacybin . We started with the piece on the forearm 11 years ago, and then it just kept growing. Aside from that piece, everything was explorative and spontaneous freehand without any planning, just probing the mystery with good tunes and conversations. Wild to see where it landed. Cant thank you enough for your trust and dedication over the years to let this emerge. 🙏🏻

My process in recent days looks a lot different than it used to.
More often than not I go into a tattoo appointment with very little idea of what I’m going to create. This forces me to rely on my gut instincts and draw inspiration from the moment, and has given way to an overall more organic and satisfying experience and end result for the client.
In the last two slides you can see where we started with the initial sketch designs directly on skin.
