I do a lot of painting from life but perhaps my favorite practice is capturing scenes and soaking in the moment with just my sketchbook and pen. Usually within a bookbag zippers reach, I love turning boredom into a productive session of being in the moment and carefully observing the world around me.
These are a collection of drawings spanning from 2020. Whether I’m in my hospital gown coming down off anesthesia, sitting in an airport, being a passenger princess, to tattoo appointments and beach days, I always find time to draw.
