Announcement📢📢📢 Today is a sad day for us and this is a post we didn’t think we’d be writing for a long time. Due to unforeseen circumstances we have made the difficult decision to disband Solestial with immediate effect. We’d like to thank everyone who bought a ticket, bought merch, listened to our music and rocked out with us over the last couple years. We’ve made so many friends and so many great memories during our time together. We have a limited amount of shirts and beanies left that we will be reducing to £5 to clear, drop us a message if you want to grab some of the last bits of Solestial merch. There may come a time in the future where the circumstances are correct for Solestial to start up again but for now, this is goodbye. Love, Rob, Liam, Jesse and Jim🖤

This weeks delayed track of the week chosen by George is Floods by Pantera. Not much I really have to even say for this one such a heavy and hard hitting song, like again those of you who know absolutely know what I mean with this song, the outro solo hits right in the feels, enjoy peeps 😎

This weeks track of the week chosen by Liam is Chelsea Smile by Bring Me The Horizon. Well, what a throw back. It is no secret that Bring me were my gateway to the heavier side of metal but this album and song specifically were the defining moment where I knew I wanted to be a vocalist. I think this album was a genre defining album and helped to kick start the new age of metalcore and inspired a whole new generation of angsty teens.

This weeks track of the week chosen by Jim is Doesn't Remind Me by Audioslave. I only listened to this song for the first time earlier this week and since then it has pretty much been on repeat since! I love the rolling/marching guitar in the verses, it builds so much tension for the chorus, and when it kicks in with the killer guitar and bass tones, punchy drums, and Chris Cornells face melting vocals🫠... not to mention the incredible lyrics! This one was an easy pick for me!

This week tracks of the week chosen by George is Follow the Signs by Born of Osiris. Every song from The Discovery is an absolute banger and is probably the best album they've done to this day, its heavy melodic and just hits right. Definitely check this out if you like low tuned guitars mixed with interesting synth work and some crazy solos thrown in.

This weeks track of the week chosen by Jesse is Plug in Baby by Muse. Have always loved this song, but lately I've been smashing it. Love the sound they get from a 3 piece, always sounds massive with that bass tone. Matt Bellamy also a great frontman. Give it a listen If you haven't already x

This weeks track of the week chosen by Rob is the dagger by roadrunner United, this compilation album made to celebrate the 25th anniversary of roadrunner recorded is everything you would expect from such a heavyweight label and more!! Down to the choice of the 4 team captains to the songs they created using artists of their choosing off the roadrunner roster is a true example of how creative and capable the musical minds behind some of the best bands in metal have to offer... check this shit out!!
