🎨 My latest coaster creation was inspired by “Water Lilies” by Claude Monet. 🖌️
Perhaps Monet’s most beautiful art piece was the garden he created outside of his home in Giverny, France. It became his muse for the Water Lilies series, of which he created over 250 paintings.😮
Definitely on my bucket list to visit one day! 🇫🇷

🎙️Our students from Kid Mason were eager to learn about the rich musical history of downtown Tampa! During the era of the Chitlin’ Circuit, Central Avenue was home to many iconic music venues that helped launch the legendary careers of artists like James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, B.B. King, and Billie Holiday.🌸
🕶️ Even more special, the Kid Mason Recreation Center sits right next to where Tampa’s adopted son, Ray Charles, once lived, wrote, and recorded his first song, “St. Pete Blues.” 🎹
✨Moments like these remind us that music education is about more than learning notes. 🎶 It’s about connection, culture, and inspiring the next generation to help carry our legacy forward.💙

I finallyyy was able to gift this remembrance piece of “Ducky” for @mawnsterrr 🙏🏽🐱🐥There is nothing more I love to do than draw my friends fur babies. 🖤 I only wish I had more time to do so! Ducky in particular was super cool for me to create since he was half blind just like me. 🕶️

🕶️ Retracing Brother Ray’s early footsteps — from his birthplace in Albany, GA, to his childhood roots in Greenville, FL… and ultimately to downtown Tampa, where his genius began to shine at just 16 years old.
At 813 Short Emory Street, Ray Charles wrote and recorded his first three songs — including St. Pete Blues. It was the first home where he had a piano at his fingertips, day or night. It’s also where he formed his first band, fell in love with Louise, and became a father for the first time. Plus, where his signature look wearing black glasses got it’s start🎶🖤
@instruments4life is proud to honor this legacy through our “Central Ave Live” music program — and we hope to one day create a tribute statue celebrating Ray’s unforgettable time in Tampa and the launch of his legendary musical journey.

🙏🏽 It was an absolute honor to gift my original charcoal portrait of Billie Holiday to the incredibly talented actress Ms. Desiree Montes, who portrayed Lady Day with stunning grace and soul. Her performance was truly breathtaking. 😮🙌🏽
