Deeper Connections is a 3 part men’s workshop series exploring validation, intuition, and communication through guided conversation, reflection, and practical tools for real life relationships. This series is for men looking to deepen presence, strengthen connection, and build more honest relationships with themselves and others. Led by Vidyasagar (VS), whose work bridges contemplative traditions, emotional intelligence, meditation, and modern coaching practices. We will have diverse speakers and performers to engage our community with love and solidarity as we fight for the rights of our undocumented siblings that contribute to this country in all aspects of society. This rally and marcha is a community celebration letting the establishment know that we value the contributions of documented and undocumented immigrants! United as a community, we will keep us safe! Join us at Sol Collective May 6th for Real Men Talk! We are bringing back the popular men’s group at the perfect time! Real Men Talk is a safe space for guys to come together and enjoy each other’s company, while also sharing a free dinner and learning something impactful each time. This free event is for men only, high school aged boys will be allowed with parent/guardian permission*. We will serve food from 6:30-7pm. If you’d like to break bread with us please come on time as we will be transitioning to our keynote speaker shortly after 7pm. This month’s theme is “Brotherhood in Action: Building Strong Men, Strong Teams, and Strong Communities”. This month’s guest speaker is Adonai Mack - CEO of Child Action Inc. The final hour is an open discussion, which brings the guys together to speak freely, and is good for networking and growing from our own experiences or expertise. Breath in Rhythm is a men’s breathwork circle where we come together to release, reset, and reconnect, with ourselves and with each other. After major renovations, Sol Collective is back open and April 11th we’re celebrating in a big way with some of the artists who got their starts at Sol Collective and have gone on to have a huge impact on our city and beyond including NPR Tiny Desk winner The Philharmonik fresh off the release of his new album Transcendentalism featuring the single, “Home.” Seven44 returns to Sol Collective with a fresh new project. Also featuring a special poetry month set by Andru Defeye. Hosted by Russell Cummings with DJ Amp One and special guests. April is National Poetry Month and Sol Collective is teaming with Sac Poetry Week to support this year’s local poetry festivities in October. Proceeds will benefit Sol Collective and Sac Poetry Week.
