Instagram was how I began showing my work and the likes and comments really pushed me forward to keep making more. I really appreciate the love from everyone who has supported and wanted to make 1 last post of some of my favorite moments from my new reel.

Try to remember a singular post you saw on Instagram yesterday. If you can, try to remember a singular post you saw the day before that. I bet the majority of you cannot remember even one out of the hundreds of posts you’ve scrolled through, including myself. I will no longer have or be posting my work on Instagram. Story cannot be told in seconds with lasting impact on the viewer. At the end of the day when I post a video on this platform, you’ll scroll to the next. Well told story’s take extreme amounts of time and detailed focus to be developed into a beautiful and unique piece of “art” for others to watch and connect with. I want what I have created to have a lasting impact on the current and upcoming generations. Producing videos in this short form manner does not sufficiently please the creator nor the viewer for long periods of time. Personally, I cannot be satisfied creating what has become so popular amongst our generation. Deep down I have truthfully never felt content with a single video I have ever made.
Great minds do not learn from watching endless amounts of entertainment either. They learn from thousands of hours of focused study from influences seen by them as exceptional and this platform takes time away from that. The time I spend here is an overall waste of life and distracts my mind from caring about what matters in video and even just in general. There’s a point in every successful persons career where they begin to develop there own path with the influence and foundation of what they have learned in their previous existence. I do not want my foundation to be short form instagram content. Which is what I have seen far too much of. I would much rather that foundation come from watching highly praised films of the past and reading books written by brilliant, timeless, minds sharing fundimental knowledge for that power to really sink in.
I’ll be putting all my effort into creating films with purpose and meaning, combined with the editing I have been progressing over the last 4 years. All my work from now will be put out on YouTube, as it is one of the only platforms promoting long form content. Link in bio.😈
