I’m glad you had the courage to speak up. Preying on the youth ….there aren’t many things worse than that. We are supposed to uplift and support the youth not destroy their lives. When I moved to Charlotte Ray was always around…..I lived off Sharon amity, lived off shamrock …in noda….east side lurker and so was Ray so this hits hard. hope anyone affected gets the support they deserve. Don’t know why they called him pro too they wanna overdo it in the media.
Got out …still can’t kickflip ankle still f’d been worried about it ….. I had surgery on that ankle ….bones were popping out it’s basically reconstructed but I do try to exercise it….been doing every recommended back exercise and working out….trying to get my back straight be without pain bulging disk got me salty so I feel thankful I did a shitty bluntslide. This just the reality of being old trying to stay athletic health is wealth you gotta keep it moving…..one thing I’ve never done is stretch before skating but from now on ima try. With Graves’ disease I lost 40 pounds of muscle in a month and a half and all the physiological changes f’d me up for years…I’m trying to put some effort into building myself back but it’s easier said than done as I been trying for a few years haha. I am trying though.
@jbh_stl sent me this saying he ended up at ohio surf n skate traveling through one day when me n Dyrdek were there for a sesh and he shot some pics and this is the only one that turned out. 1991 riding a G&S blank from @markheintzman71 he kept me laced until I found another board sponsor.
