To my wonderful SG family and everyone across Lagos Island II, thank you for your sacrifice, loyalty, prayers, and unwavering belief in our shared vision. What we built together was organic, people-driven, and rooted in genuine service to our people.
I remain deeply grateful to our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and our Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for their mentorship, guidance, and wise counsel. Leadership teaches loyalty, discipline, and the importance of protecting institutions above personal ambition.
Democracy demands maturity. Today, one person emerges; tomorrow, another may carry the torch. But beyond positions and contests, our commitment to the people and to meaningful service must always remain constant.
For me, politics has never been about titles alone. It is a platform to create impact, uplift communities, inspire young people, and contribute meaningfully to society.
I therefore urge every supporter to remain hopeful, steadfast, and proud of what we have collectively built. This moment does not diminish the strength of our movement, the bonds we have formed, or the future ahead of us. If anything, it has revealed the power of unity, grassroots connection, and shared purpose.
Thank you for believing.

Yesterday, I stepped down from my role as Special Adviser on Transportation to the Governor of Lagos State.
It has been an honor to serve and contribute to the transformation of our transport system under the THEMES+ Agenda. I remain grateful to Mr. Governor for the trust and opportunity.
After deep reflection and wide consultations, I am answering a higher call to represent the good people of Lagos Island Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives.
This next chapter is about stronger representation, purposeful legislation, and delivering real impact for our people.
The journey continues.
As a responsible and proactive government, we strengthened our commitment to community engagement on Tuesday by holding a focused discussion with the residents of Ibeju-Lekki LGA and Lekki LCDA on the implementation of the e-call-up system for managing truck inflow and exit around the Lekki Free Trade Zone.
I would like to express my gratitude to the visionary chairmen of Ibeju-Lekki and Lekki LCDA for organizing this important forum in collaboration with the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation.
Our discussions with the community emphasized the importance of local residents taking ownership of the Free Trade Zone, supporting the government’s efforts to manage truck operations by refraining from using their compounds as temporary parking for trucks. We also highlighted the issue of rising shanties in the area, which the Special Adviser had observed during a recent working visit.
We are confident that the e-call-up system will be successful in promoting safety and improving the quality of life for the residents of Ibeju-Lekki.
Lagos State has officially claimed the top spot as the world’s leading destination for business travellers, a milestone that speaks to its unrivalled economic dynamism and global influence. This prestigious rating is a testament to the relentless drive of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, whose visionary leadership in transportation has transformed the landscape of the city. The game-changing launch of the Red Line passenger rail, alongside the Blue Line and sweeping road enhancements, has redefined how Lagosians and visitors travel within the state. With seamless connectivity across land, rail, and water, Lagos now stands as an example for innovation, welcoming the world’s elite to a city where business and opportunity thrive at every turn.
