I've been wanting to share my position on the use of AI in art for a long time.
I don't use or plan to use anything generated in my work (not even individual visual elements or audio samples), nor do I use AI art as a source of inspiration. For a while, I created visual prototypes of my ideas (none of which have been realized yet), but overall, I'm disappointed even with that, haha.
That said, I don't judge anyone who, for whatever reason, does things differently — I believe this can happen for indie non-commercially oriented artists due to a lack of resources, or just because some artist is a fan of AI aesthetics. However, I personally find this unacceptable for my project. I dislike the vast majority of AI content. Rare stuff, that looks artistically interesting, psychologically is perceived as weird half-hearted animation — and that can in no way be part of my aesthetic. This is my current position.

The new single "Strała" ("Arrow") will be available in a week.
This song is a part of ancient spring/early summer ritual coming from south of Belarus and north-eastern part of Ukraine. "The Burial of the Arrow" involves singing, dancing and the burial of a specific object, coin, doll or simply some metal object (may vary from one village to another, as well as lyrics and melody of the songs). As per words of the latest bearers of this tradition, it is done with the aim of causing rain and making the land fertile. It has pagan origins and, according to some theories, in the ancient times was performed in honor of Piarun. Per some sources, "arrow" in ancient times meant lightning.
This ritual survived both Christian and Soviet times and is held in many places till today. "Burial of the Arrow" is included in the List of Intangible Historical and Cultural Values of Belarus.
