There was a period of time where I felt a bit lost musically, I knew I wanted to do something new but I wasn’t sure how to get there.
When I sat down to make this song, I blocked all the external thoughts out. I wasn’t trying to sound like so and so, I wasn’t thinking of what label it could fit on, I wasn’t thinking much of anything to be honest. I really just let the song form and let this intense feeling of nostalgia guide me. The result was one of the purest songs I feel I’ve made. It showed me a new path and I’m forever grateful for that, I hope it makes you feel something too 💙
