To anyone in the trenches of postpartum right now, wondering why you don’t look or feel like everyone you see online. I see you, I was you, I hold so much love for you. What you see here now, is not who I was navigating the first few weeks / months of having a baby. In fact, I’m only just starting to really discover myself now. Almost 3 years later.
I get SO MANY OF YOU in my DMS 6 weeks, 10 weeks, 12 weeks postpartum telling me you don’t feel like you and honestly I can’t even tell you how normal that feeling is.
