going to spend this year thinking about light,
gradients, shades, shadows, and reflections.
here are some small experiments thus far, together with some forever inspirations;
sky, a curtain at home, somewhere near a mcvities factory, Hastings train station and a coach in santorini. 🔦
so many people are still talking to me about ‘the bear’, so very proud to have been part of the team making this absurd dream come true. TY to -

I adore this collection of photos. this commission gave us the chance to work with centre rattan cane, an incredible plant that you can soak, shape and set into shape.
the beauty of the material comes across in these process shots taken during production.
by us I mean deep thanks to @rebeccamcdonaldstudio@fran_heap@liberty_hmann@columbaaa who brought this together for soft tissue studio.
here are some images of research and process as part of making a water feature. i love getting to look at something in this much detail, ‘deep puddle’ was an element created for @serafine1369 for Azimuth Zenith Nadir, i tried and eventually failed to suspend deep water on rubber. i had a nice time trying.
only fools try to master water they say. 🃏

Where everything looks syrupy. I love thinking back to this project and making the exhibition design for Jamila alongside the best people Nancy, Josh, Jackie and Nora. Such a treat. This was a refreshing project for me, the work itself and being a part of the working practices being activated by Jamila and Nancy. Very happy to see @metalwater.co blooming since then and supporting so much vital dance work come to the fore.
