I’d like to take this moment to announce my retirement from bag mixing. I will continue to operate boom or mix from a cart, but the fact is the human body was never designed to carry an 833 for five years.
Any productions willing to hire me a 1st A.S. (Boom op) of any experience level (remember I’m a music teacher) will receive free video bts of their production from my perspective.
Just provide SD media at the top of the day and I’ll throw it into my S1H’s second card slot.

** I am your locations recordist NOT your BTS videographer, but I love the work you artists do and would be happy to capture a bit of it whenever there’s a little down time within the sound department.

You could give @jdstarnes4 the most cliche line and he would still find a way to make it fresh and original.
Every time I watch him work, I get this feeling that if I had 10 actors with his experience and courage to take risks, I could be the next Wes Andersen.
For this film we might have something better. Each of the cast brings thier own interesting branding to the table and are incredibly clever with what they’re doing on screen
They’re fascinating to watch and as an editor I’m so lucky to have the material they give me for this insane art project!
