Since there’s a bunch of new people here I think it’s about time I make a little introduction!!! My name is Juno Valentine, many of you may know me by my birth name but not too long ago, I realized it never really felt like me when it came to my art. It took me so long to discover who I am as an artist and through so much self discovery and healing, I found my true self in my new name and I couldn’t be happier 🥹 I am a full time artist who specializes in illustration and ceramics! I went to school for Fine Arts and nearly a decade later I’m deciding to go for my dream full time after being laid off from the corporate overlords!!! I believe in protecting our drag, trans and queer community; a free Palestine, Congo, and Sudan; removing ICE off of our streets; protecting sex workers and unhoused people; offering better mental health care; fat liberation; and above all ART IS FOR HUMANS AND AI IS AWFUL. There’s a bunch more shit I’d write in here but we can save that for some fun art in the future! I’m a cat parent of 2, betrothed, a Virgo. I’m into punk riot grrl music but I’m also a big fat Harry Stan and I’m obsessed with horror!!!! I love to eat and say fuck diet culture, I love Baja Blast and izakayas, I’m terrified of frogs but I LOVE all bugs, I love musical theatre and pro wrestling, I love Italian food and Diego’s homemade breakfast, I love drawing more than anything but I’ve been enjoying getting reacquainted with ceramics and learning my new obsession, beading!
