The Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development, in collaboration with Softlink.AI, proudly held the Supahuman Virtual Assistant Training Programme Certification Ceremony on March 12, 2026.
The programme, which began in June 2025, brought together 25 selected youths for months of intensive digital skills training, mentorship, and hands-on learning. Designed to equip participants with practical virtual assistant and digital operations skills, the programme prepared them to compete confidently in the global digital economy.
Today, we celebrate their remarkable journey: several participants have already secured placements with organizations where they are applying their skills, while others are channeling their knowledge into building and growing their own businesses.
The Supahuman Program marks a new chapter in youth empowerment in Nigeria; a journey where talent, dedication, and opportunity come together to unlock potential, create opportunities, and shape futures.

The Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development recently held a strategic meeting with Softlink.AI @softlink.ai to review progress and explore further collaboration on the Supa Human Virtual Assistant Training Programme Award and Certification Ceremony, a programme designed to equip young people with digital skills.
The training, championed by the Founder of Softlink.AI, Mr. Daniel Folley @danielfolley_ , who is also a member of the Ministry’s Technical Working Group, was created to expand opportunities for Lagos youth in the global digital economy.
Although the initial plan was to train 10 participants, the programme was expanded to 25 youths due to the overwhelming interest in the growth and development of Lagos youths.
Between May and August 2025, the selected participants underwent intensive training in areas such as social media support, content management, and administrative services. Many of the trainees are now working with international clients as virtual assistants.
During the meeting, some of the trained participants, fondly referred to as the Supahumans, were presented with their certificates and had the opportunity to interact with the Honourable Commissioner, Mr. Mobolaji Abubakre Ogunlende @mobolajiogunlende and the Permanent Secretary, Pharm. (Mrs.) Toyin Oke-Osanyintolu @toyinlayeni .
The Ministry remains committed to fostering partnerships that equip Lagos youth with relevant skills and access to global opportunities.
