Abuja Art Fair was more than an exhibition, it was a reminder of why art matters, especially when it gives voice to the unheard.
Thank you Tyrone Tongo @tyrone.ot , Abuja Art Fair @theabujaartfair , and Thought Pyramid @thoughtpyramidabuja for opening the doors and creating a space where projects like Golden Cries of the Girl Child can be seen, felt, and understood.
Thank you for believing in creatives, and for giving us room to grow, to be recognised, and to tell the stories that deserve the light. 💡❤️

JOY IN CHAOS. 2026.
Joy in Chaos is a meditation on resilience, the quiet courage of showing up when the ground beneath you was never meant to be soft.
The world is a jagged landscape of unyielding stone, a quarry of expectations that threatens to bruise the soul. We move across gravel, sharp, unstable, unforgiving, yet we rise anyway. The dancer stands balanced on resistance itself, her body bending but not breaking.
White becomes the language of joy, light, hope, persistence.
Black carries the weight of chaos, struggle, shadow, survival. They do not cancel one another; they coexist.
There is tension in the limbs and grace in the gesture. There is strain beneath the poise.
Joy, here, is not the absence of chaos;
it is the decision to dance on gravel.
