Happy New Year ✨
This was my final window of 2025 — an internal door for a Bed-Stuy home, designed to echo the playful, colorful interior of the space.
This install didn’t go perfectly, and honestly… I am learning that it is a part of the process. Stained glass still kicks my butt sometimes. It asks a lot, teaches a lot, and keeps me humble. I’m hoping to take this medium to a new level in the years ahead — technically, creatively, and conceptually.
Thank you for following along on this glass journey. I’m so grateful to keep learning, experimenting, and making work that lives with people every day. 🪟✨

I’ll never be done posting this colorful transom window! It was such a joy to make. I’ve got one more commission in the works for this summer so I’m open for one(ish) more! If you’re interested in getting a quote for a stained glass window in your home, send me a message!

My latest big slice of greatness installed at @designlovefest last week! Making this panel meant so much to me. I worked on it for weeks and it felt like I learned so much while creating it. I am really excited to be working on larger scale work for people’s homes this year. It feels really right!

I’ve been seeing so many cute film strip holders this month and wanted to try my hand at it in my style. I just knew this set of photos should be displayed together! A little romantic and beachy. What do you think?
I am so happy with how this stained glass window turned out! She lives in a Houseboat @littlebearhouseboat in Boston! I hope I get to visit someday!

Y’all, I’ve been in a pretty serious depression spell so far this year. Like many times in this creative career, I’ve had to pivot and this one felt really scary.
I’m grateful to say that with a little help from loved ones, some new projects, and a new gig, I’m starting to feel more like myself again.
Being an artist is absolutely not for the weak of heart. You know that. Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is decide to keep going.
Anyway… here’s a little content for the beast. I really do love this window so much. It lives in Bed-Stuy here in Brooklyn ✨
ATTN NYC! I’m teaching a 6-week Functional Fusing class at @urbanglass_nyc starting next month ✨ Every Friday night!
We’ll cover the fundamentals of glass fusing and then you’ll have space to make the fun stuff ~ plates, bowls, coasters, playful flatware, glass art tiles, small sculptures, magnets… truly whatever you can dream up.
Fusing is one of my favorite processes. I’ve made some extremely cute (and surprisingly durable!) pieces over the years and I can’t wait to share it with you.
Come spend your Friday nights melting glass with me 💘
@arrowmont_school Pentaculum Winter 2026 was such a joy! I was lucky enough to support glass studio coordinator @rachel_a_rader at this incredible residency in Gatlinburg, TN, and it felt like the perfect deep breath after a wildly busy holiday season.
I spent the week thinking, reading, resting, and reconnecting with why I love this medium so much. There’s something so grounding about being surrounded by people who are each on their own path with glass—everyone learning, experimenting, and dreaming in their own way.
Feeling really grateful for the chance to slow down, explore, and soak up inspiration in such a magical place. 💛
This past week, Kelsie McNair was our Glass Studio Assistant! Kelsie is an artist that I’ve worked with through the years, ever since first working together on an exhibition at the GAS conference in Norfolk. I loved seeing her explore new designs at the Pentaculum Residency.
As the Winter Pentaculum Glass Studio Coordinator, I had the pleasure of bringing in a group of glass artists from across North America, for a week-long residency and retreat. Our group all worked alongside one another at @arrowmont_school in the Glass Studio.
Follow @soft_shapes to see more of Kelsie’s gorgeous artwork.

One of the most amazing things about stained glass is that you never really know what it’s going to look like until it’s installed. You can make educated guesses—using light boxes, holding pieces up to a window, imagining how the colors might behave—but the truth is, the glass doesn’t fully reveal itself until it’s living in its actual space.
Stained glass is alive. It changes with the light, with the weather, with the seasons. Morning light feels completely different from afternoon glow, and winter light tells a different story than summer. Sometimes it even changes hour by hour—and that’s what makes it so special. It’s a piece of art you don’t just look at, you experience over time.
For this window, the client originally wanted a landscape. Instead of creating a literal scene, I offered another way of seeing the nature they were drawn to—something more abstract and emotional, focused on color, movement, and light rather than representation. The result feels more playful, more immersive, and deeply connected to the space it lives in.
Would you ever want stained glass in your home? Where would you put it—your front door, a transom, a bathroom, a stairwell, an interior doorway? I love helping people imagine how glass can transform their space, and I’m always open to custom work and new collaborations.

A quick, informal look at this big babe of a doorway glass—soon to live in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn ✨ I can’t wait to see how she looks once she’s installed. Stained glass is truly magic, and I’m so excited to keep making more pieces like this for homes. If you’re dreaming of something custom to transform the light and become a permanent heirloom in your space, let’s collaborate! #stainedglass #stainedglassartist #stainedglassdesign #interiordesign #customwindow
