I was #gifted this SE1 light from @sofirnflashlight . It's their 16th anniversary edition. I absolutely adore it. First of all, it's orange which makes it easier for me to find because it's tiny. You can hide it in the palm of your hand. It's easy to operate because it only has 1 button. So, you better remember the combinations for different lighting options. You have 3 intensity options. Regular light that can go up to 75 meter and will last you up to 3 and half hour on the lowest setting. Do you need more time? What about a moonlight setting for amazing 10 hours and 24 minutes. Additionally, you have the red light and the uv light. What makes it user friendly are all the gadgets you get with it. A clipper that you can attach to a wrist band. A neck chain and a key chain. Been carrying the orange Sofirn SE1 lately and honestly this little light punches way above its size.
A few things I really like about it:
🟠 The orange color is awesome — easy to spot in a pocket or bag and just looks different from the usual black gear.
💡 300 lumens is more than enough for everyday carry tasks. For such a tiny flashlight, it throws a surprisingly bright and usable beam.
👌 The size is probably my favorite part. It disappears in your pocket and is super lightweight, so it’s easy to actually carry every day instead of leaving it at home.
⌚ I also like the wrist-wear option. Being able to attach it to a watch band or keep it easily accessible on your wrist is a cool feature for quick access.
🔋 USB-C charging is a huge plus too. No weird proprietary charger and super convenient to top off.
🧲 My only real con so far is the magnet strength. I wish it held a little stronger to my Apple Watch band, although that could honestly be more about the band material than the light itself.
Overall though, the SE1 feels like one of those fun little EDC items that’s actually practical. Tiny, bright, rechargeable, lightweight, and easy to carry — definitely a cool addition to the rotation.
