I was thinking I’d like to perform again when the amazing @isabelcastrojung asked me to dance with her castanets sound piece Hybrida at Iklectic. I’d seen the artwork at her studio and was always curious to try it on so, of course, said yes (little did I know how heavy it is 😅) We had fun in the studio today playing with sounds and shapes and weight (and a bit of monsters🧜🏼‍♀️) with @sofipomeroy I’ll post some videos of that soon. We also talked about our parents, our sense of identity, what it means to be away. As all of us are “Hybridas” of Spanish culture mingled with others (I have lived exactly half of my life in Spain and half away, in Holland and UK) so we know belonging is a complex thing… 📆 Saturday 23rd April 7pm Costumes of Sound Hybrida @iklecticartlab

FIRST EUROPEAN TOUR! 🌏 These are the first dates for 2026, a year I hope to spend connecting with you all, in person. With 7 shows confirmed across Germany, Netherlands & Belgium. In anticipation of the release of an upcoming album, I’ll be performing new, unreleased songs and selected material from the back catalogue. To make the shows even more special, I’ll be joined onstage by Sofia Pomeroy, choreographer of ‘Puddles’ & ‘Hold My Skin’, who will perform immersive live dance, as well as my band Arina Brovanova (cello) & Tom Gillard (keys/percussion). The past year has been very special for my career, I’ve made lasting, and often unexpected collaborative connections which have helped to elevate my art and lyrics, and now I’m taking a step into what I feel will be the most intensely rewarding tour. We’ve spent two years bringing these singles and music videos to life, facing the industry threats of algorithms and AI. So proud to finally have it come to stage. We have booked some ambitious venues, so if you know anyone in these cities, please do repost & share, and help us make this a success.
