Those who know me knows I love to play with choreography, so getting the chance to choreograph for a passionate artist, a bigger audience and alongside these young, talented and versatile dancers was a blessing to me ✨️🪷

Møt Sofia Peralta💜
@sofiaper underviser i Dancehall hos oss og har et sjeldent stort hjerte for dansestilen.
Hun har norsk/chilensk bakgrunn men bodde i Spania fra hun var 6-19 år.
Interessen for dans fikk hun gjennom videoer på Youtube, men det var på danseskolen Les Nitz FunkaDelic i Spania, at hun oppdaget Dancehall! Siden den gang har hun fordypet seg i stilen og i 2021 bodde Sofia 6 måneder på Jamaica for å lære enda mer om Dancehalls kultur, dans og historie. Her trente hun med noen av pionerene i Dancehall og er i dag en av de mest engasjerte ildsjelene i Norge som formidler av dansestilen.
Dette gjør Sofia er en ettertraktet pedagog og hun har undervisningserfaring bla fra Høyskolen Kristiania, Rythm, The Zone Dansestudio, Flow Academy, Forandringshuset på Holmlia, Sats og Kyrre Texnæs Studio.
Hun både koreograferte og danset for Akuvi på Stjernekamp i våres med og for Tolou på årets P3 Gull i vinter.
Sofia har en ydmyk og takknemlig tilnærming til dansen og elsker hvordan hennes egen dansereise beriker livet på alle plan ✨
Denne tilnærmingen deler hun raust med seg på sine klasser som oser av kunnskap, lidenskap, dyp forståelse og respekt for individet så vel som dansestilen.
