My film ' Dante's Inferno - The Ascension ' is finally finished! I can't wait for the first screening & to begin a festival run! If just one of the aspirations I have for this film come to fruition it'll have been worth it! I plan to shoot another 4 shorts this year & am aiming to shoot my first feature next year. My current Action Reel 💥 This December it will be ten years since I stepped on my first ever film set and now I don't know what i'd be doing with myself if I wasn't doing this. I never get bored of it, i've just become spurred on to experience, learn & achieve more & to branch out into more aspects of the industry. I love acting, particularly roles which allow me to combine acting & stunts. I'm currently trying my hand at producing & I'm working on putting together my own project which will be shot in the coming months. I'm really looking forward to being able to share that with you and also being able to update my reel next year with performances from not yet released projects and some which I have coming up. Can't wait to see what 2023 has in store! That’s a wrap on Black Ops! 🎬 What a wild couple of weekends. I’m hyped to have co-directed my first vertical action short alongside @sofianfrancis who wrote and co-directed this project. We designed this specifically for vertical screens (but we couldn't resist shooting widescreen a version for the festival circuit, too! 😉) This is our official follow-up after over 3 years of work on Dante’s Inferno. Dante's has won 'Best Narrative Short' at the Denton Black Film Festival! One of 28 best film awards (in varied categories) it has won so far on it's festival run! Dante's has received some incredible feedback from judges and festival programmers at Denton, some of which you can see here. It really does make it all feel worth while knowing that audiences have enjoyed your work and vision so much! I'm very much looking forward to being able to share the film with everyone at some point but right now I have some big plans for it which i'm working tirelessly to execute... Now this was a gnarly one! Shooting @notwithouthopefilm for 5 weeks in a freezing tank in Malta including 9 night shoots! You'd think it'd be warm 🤣 We endured long takes under rain machines, dump tanks, wind machines, water cannons, swimming against tethers to simulate currents, breath holds, climbing onto a capsized boat & being washed off of it over and over, it was mentally & physically draining but an incredible team & some great comradery got us through! To get a real sense of what we were dealing with make sure you watch the entire last video! Thanks so much to my main man @phantomstunts for having me & to both Morgan my bro @4e11even for keeping us safe! Bless up to the other stunt doubles @conceptstunts & @hayden.stunts the entire stunt team, water safety team and the amazing crew! To experience just a hint of what those men endured in the open ocean with nobody on hand to help puts a lot into perspective. It must have been terrifying. 3 of them sadly passed away. Introducing the official teaser poster for WOUNDED PATHS along with a few early frames from the film. The story follows a grieving ex boxer who was once on the edge of going pro, now spiralling into addiction after the death of his mother. As he slips into the very cycle of destruction that defined his father’s life, the father who abused him and forced boxing upon him resurfaces, desperate for one last chance at redemption. This project has been months in the making and today marks the first real step in bringing our vision to life. Our plan is simple. We have shot four key scenes from the feature script that set the tone and introduce the world of Wounded Paths. We will use this teaser to launch our crowdfunding campaign, giving people the opportunity to support a story rooted in raw emotion, culture and lived experience. With this momentum we will push forward into full production with a team that believes deeply in the project. Starring we have @sofianfrancis and @dimejiewuoso playing Reece and Ben Dubwa, whose body of work speak for themselves, and @salimzahran_ bringing young Reece Dubwa to life.
