Bringing along some of my best friends and artist peers from CA to showcase with me in New York for my annual showcase Eternal Life in SoHo NYC on 05/28. Bringing a true California spirit to New York as a group.
The 8 creators in this post are not only talented artists , but they are some of the most awesome people I’ve met here in California. Whenever I called on them to be apart of something , they were always there to support. As we all know, talent in art only gets you 30% there, the other 70% is being genuine and having the type of passion that radiates through your interactions with people AND your art, your attitude and personality is EVERYTHING.
All of these folks embody that in what they do. Truth, talent, passion, integrity, hustle and the positive mindset that can take them to the top. I’m happy to have them join the 50+ artists in NYC to express what ETERNAL LIFE means to them through art ON 05/28. Stay tuned for the final flier being released this week with all info. There’s no way to really be prepared for a place like New York City. I’ve learned a very long time ago you just have to hop in, unapologetically do it your way and be open to whatever happens, ready to act. As long as you keep an iron mind focused on why you are there and how far you’ve come, anything can happen there.
I have a bittersweet connection with New York, and over many years I’ve expressed myself in several different ways, but every single time, I’ve grown in a major way. Im eager, yet patient for the next chapter, if that makes any sense to you all…☀️

What’s very special about this exhibition is that I’m bringing in a group of hand selected artists from California and New York City to bring forth a tremendously electric, avant garde, one of a kind collaborative expression.
Talented artists in the areas of painting, sculpture, photography, film, music, poetry, performance, dance, craft and more, coming together at one of the most dynamic times in history to express to the world what Eternal Life means to them.

Im truly thankful to have had my film “LOVE” be featured alongside 12 great NY film makers last week during the @moonzescope CONNECTIONS event in New York . It was an honor to share space in the screening room amongst such great visual artists and directors.
Not a lot of people on IG know about my film work from the past before paintings, but I’ve been involved with film since 2010. This year I’m bringing it back in a major way. So it was nice to be included as a director in this event to give people a little glimpse in NY to start the year off.
In addition, to multiple films I’ve been working on the last year which will all be released in upcoming months, I’m happy to be working again with award winning NY filmmaker @sofiamonzerratt of Moonzescope on an upcoming film this sprintg/summer in New York with dance choreographer @lianaa23 .
