Sofia Eskola (b. 1990) is a visual artist based in Helsinki and Gothenburg. She studies at the Lahti Institute of Design and Fine Arts and HDK-Valand. She works with photography, video and performance. Publications and material processes are a big part of her practice.
During her internship at NSFW, Sofia will focus on documentation and publishing. Her work will include the planning and production of a publication documenting the gallery’s artistic and curatorial program (both print and online). She will also work with the gallery’s art archive and contribute to exhibition and event documentation.
