Autopole and Super Clamp have roots in Manfrotto’s innovations from the 1980s, when Abramo and Lino Manfrotto expanded beyond photography to create versatile support systems. Originally designed for studios, these tools introduced a smart, secure way to mount and position equipment anywhere. Over time, this functional heritage shaped the evolution of the JJ lamp into JJ Grip - combining lighting with the same flexibility and strength. With the addition of the Super Clamp and compatibility with Autopole of @alu_italy , JJ transformed into a fully adaptable design piece, able to move freely across spaces and uses. Today, Autopole and Super Clamp is also part of the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York, recognizing its iconic balance of function and design.
