My personal “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. I haven’t played a good cello for 3 months since I am on board as I didn’t manage to bring my instrument here. This time in Seattle I went to a violin maker’s house and a woman there said magic words to me: “We have a cello room for you.” She opened a door and I found myself in an amazing place full of the only real luxury for me - great cellos. I spent my whole morning in this room playing all these beautiful instruments. I don’t need many things in my life, but this one makes me feel really alive and happy. Just finished our 7th and for now the last contract together at sea. Have been through a lot and feel like to leave here some random memories of these 4 years.
