• Abrazando los contrastes, y recibiendo un nuevo capítulo. Hace 5 años vivi 7 años en una ciudad que siempre soñé conocer de chiquita desde el campo, los caballos y una vida completamente opuesta. Una ciudad que me marcó por vida y que hasta hoy volviendo se sigue sintiendo casa. Una ciudad que combina todos los mundos, idiomas y distintas formas de ser y pensar en un solo lugar. Que pone a prueba tus límites pero te hace superar lo que pensabas que eras capas o tu ángulo de observación. Que te hace sentir una soledad ajena, y al mismo tiempo encontrarte en tu forma más auténtica y otros que se atreven a ir encontra de sus normas, a ser uno en su autenticidad completa y tener esa valentía. Atravesar límites que no expanden, valorar los contrastes de lugares, personas, perspectivas y de todo tipo. Entre texturas, colores y sombras, en donde resalta la luz y se revelan distintas claridades como un espejo. Una lección que se me hace más sólida con el pasar de los años en esta industria, es que no hay nada que abra más la cabeza como el viajar o rodearse de mundos distintos con diferentes perspectivas, y que esencial lo es.🙏🏼

• I know it feels hopeless sometimes to feel like one makes a difference in helping the environmental crisis our generation has been faced with worst than ever, but let’s not give up 💪💪💪
Every little thing does count, so let’s make the right choices that define our future and do what we know deep in our hearts is the right thing. Let’s think of the kind of future we want to leave the following generations. Some things I like to do that helps regardless of my lifestyle: 1. Recycle wherever and whenever I can as much as possible. 2. Less is more, quality vs quantity, and timeless pieces, especially cruelty free. 3. Contribute to NGOs fighting for our planet and preserving our biodiversity and sacred ecosystems, which are being threatened especially due to animal agriculture. ( I’ve tagged a few inspiring and hard working on this post ) 4. Eat plant based meals, also proven to be extremely beneficial for our health not only the planet, and the sad cruelty animals endure. 5. Read as much as you can on the matter and add critical thinking to the subject. Read a variety of topics with different perspectives, and compare to scientific data whilst listening to your gut and experiencing it as well. 6. Practice what you preach. 7. Last but not least, take the time to nurture your mind and expand your perspective by watching documentaries, as so many are truly enlightening. A few that changed me for life and completely opened my eyes are: What The Health, Cowspiracy, One Strange Rock, A Life On Our Planet, Game Changers, Eating Our Way Into Extinction, You Are What You Eat, Seaspiracy and an Inconvinient Truth. So many more, but a few incredible ones to take a look at what really goes on behind the curtains, whether we are aware of it or not. 🙏
