🌱NOURISH. This is the theme of Brooklyn FAM’s 2025 programming. We’re excited to announce it with this beautiful illustration by our new graphic designer Sofia Marrero
@sofia_amarrero . (Stay tuned for a post about Sofia!)
NOURISH honors personal and collective wellness, healing, and care. It is the natural outgrowth of last year’s theme of HOME.
✨What heals and replenishes me? Makes me feel whole? Fuels me and helps me grow?
✨How do we nourish each other and our communities?
While we might not have the same roots, we share soil, bathe in the same sun, breathe the same air.
We might not have been borne by the same mothers, but we now drink from the same well. Together, let’s dig deep to replenish it.
♥️We nourish ourselves as we nourish each other.
Come find nourishment in community at our FREE programming for ages 0-99 this summer and fall. Savor music, dance, singing circles, theater, workshops, art-making, wellness activities, lots of delicious and beautiful gifts/giveaways, and new reflection and conversation.

Image 2: This image echoes the first, with the word “Nourish” surrounding the hands in many of the languages of Brooklyn’s diverse communities: Hebrew, Spanish, Chinese, Bengali, Kreyòl, and Arabic.
