This fall we are making a beautiful short film about a college girl who realizes she needs out of a relationship as her boyfriend's abuse becomes less covert. I'm so excited to share with you about this beautiful story as it comes together! This has been a labor of love for many already, and we can't wait to film in a few weeks! We are raising funds through Indiegogo, the link for which is in my bio. We greatly appreciate your consideration! Much love 💕

As I realized this weekend, directing is largely gathering some amazing people and then watching them be amazing at what they do. So a special thanks to: - @spclagntdanazoe42 , I'll echo the numerous praises about the string art portrait; you're incredible! - @siriusstar_777 , as always, love your work on camera and makeup. Thank you for being such a rock for me as I prepped for the set; it meant so much! - @spencer.macy.17 , thanks for letting us use your space and helping with so many miscellaneous things so consistently throughout the weekend! - @highway_to_hellsworth , thank you for making sound such a wonderfully smooth part of the set! - @black.body.rad , how I appreciate your willingness to do multiple jobs at a moment's notice! Your slates are the best. - @elyjahcosgrove , your attention to minute details never goes unnoticed or unappreciated! - @jmicieli , what an honor to have your first AD job be on this set! You absolutely knocked it out of the park. - @_dorkpeople_ , every set I've been on with you gives me a deeper appreciation for your talents, your hard work, and the calmness you exude throughout the process! - @dickinson.kurt , thanks for using all that Meisner to live truthfully under this character's imaginary circumstances! - @kaysliter , thank you for giving this character so much life and complexity! Your improv is always on-point. - @hayleylynward , the precision in your work is such an asset and makes your character so impeccably fleshed out! Y'all, thank you to everyone for putting your trust in me and spending this weekend (and all the time you spent on prep) making a beautiful story! It means ever so much

I realized that, whenever I'm thrown off course by some life event, I process it for a long time. And I tell so many people my thought process because voicing my thoughts makes them feel more certain and because their feedback is often helpful. But I don't post about it. Because, for some reason, the written word on social media must only display my concrete thoughts on how my worldview changed, if at all, and my finalized opinion on something. Not the messy shambles of incoherent thought so many of my friends heard from me these last few months. And I'm not really growing out if it because the only reason I feel comfortable posting now is because I have a decent grasp on what I'm doing next year (but more on that later). So here we are.

As always, a month late with posting. :) One of the biggest blessings of 2021 was spending time with y'all! I love you so, so much!

Just a few months spent with amazing fellow believers.

This July I saw family in Nebraska, took a quick fun trip to Colorado Springs, visited a church in Wyoming, and had my family come back to the States for the year. Not a bad July at all, not at all.

As July wraps up (feels way too early for that, but alright), here's a late update on May and June. I got to: • Fly back to the States; • See so many friends; • Attend 4 weddings; • Continue to raise support; • And travel to Texas. Thanks, y'all, for a good start to the summer!
