Me and @janiniceland got a little bit of a sneak peek into spring season the other day and eventhough we tend to only find the infamous Icelandic "concrete powder", we managed to cut the edges into some slush.

It feels like it has been a year since the year started but this winter has just been sooo layered and eventful!
From skiing to climbing to two injuries to relearning the virtue of patience to going back to Iceland to ski guiding to glaciers to ski patrol back to glaciers and back to ski guiding. The winter is not over yet but I felt I needed a recap of what has happened since january 1st 2026.❤️
