Was an absolute pleasure to drive this gorgeous Ludwig Black Oyster kit, with a cameo from a mellow Gretsch rack tom.
For cymbals a whole set of @zildjiancompany Dark K customs for those bold crisp tones.
Expertly mic’d by literally the hardest working, most enthusiastic engineer ever @mattpughaudio whose knowledge and attention to detail is second to none.
Easter egg: two mics in this picture were used to record a very famous Phil Collins record. Answers in the comments.
Guitar, bass & vocal rigs for @sofasonic - we tried a couple of different heads and cabs but as soon as the band heard the JCM 900 & Rocker 30 on full tilt with the SVT anchoring the low end, it was game over for the competition. Classic vocal chain of 7B hitting a Neve pre & 1176.
