Our first fado act at Sofar Sounds was nothing short of unforgettable. The wonderful @andrade_susana1 showed us that sometimes, all it takes is a powerful voice and a beautifully played stringed accompaniment to fill a room—and our hearts. In that moment, we felt the joy and melancholy of love intertwine, creating a sense of overwhelming serenity that stayed with us, and seemed to sketch themselves into the very poetry books that surrounded us.
