The space made the night. And the art made the space. 🎨
Our comeback show found its home at @zo_madras in Anna Nagar — a venue that felt warm, alive, and exactly right. Thank you for opening your doors to us and to Chennai's independent music community.
And then there was Dhakshi. @dzart_03 didn't just design our comeback poster — she showed up with an art stall, selling hand-painted tote bags and postcard art prints. Her poster, a beautiful illustration of Chennai Central station and a local chai kadai anna, was her own love letter to this city. She spoke about what inspired it, and honestly, the room fell a little bit in love with her and her work.
This is what Sofar Chennai is about. Artists supporting artists. Community showing up for community.

But April 12th was different. This was his first ever solo act at Sofar Chennai, and he made every second of it count.
