‘’His music achieves a remarkable complexity of sound. Each meticulously crafted note and nuance demands undivided attention and concentration from both the performer and the listener, fostering a deep connection between the two. The act of listening becomes an integral part of the experience. ‘’ releases May 22, 2026 Etienne Nillesen - extended snare drums Music by Etienne Nillesen A co-production with Deutschlandfunk

I am happy to share that my second solo album, TWEE, is being released on May 22, 2026 on @sofalabel . Pre-orders are now available (link in bio) -Rather than focusing on individual notes or gestures, the music unfolds in the relationships between sounds. Small differences in tuning, pressure, and movement create beating, pulsation, and slow transformations that shape the listener’s perception over time- A special thanks to Deutschlandfunk and @loewnerthomas for yet another beautiful recording experience, the entire SOFA music team for their ongoing support and trust, @evajeske for the amazing artwork and @kristofer.svensson for the thoughtful liner notes. Release concert: May 27, 2026 at @stadtgarten_koeln (for tickets see link in bio)

EVERYTHING IS YELLING LOUDER THAN ME (lyrics by @inasagstuen 🔥) Blinding sunlight, sleepy mind oh take my arm, take my mouth, all that once praised life Work on wellness, how to care less when all I see, is to me, weightless symphonies Feeling the surface, stroking cheeks but all that is deep, from the real, never reaches me Plastic gaze, stumbling shoelace All baby steps, no rest, chasing my breath take my arms take my mouth wear my eyes a sprinkle in time speak my tongue hear my moan, all that once praised life Body temple, move with grace but all broken waves, circle haze, moving my way Intimate corners, trying to gather but all the world keeps to give, fake bliss, a dirty kiss take my arms take my mouth wear my eyes a sprinkle in time speak my tongue hear my moan I once praised life Rivers been wider, colors where brighter now all I see, changing seasons turn into seas I am smothered, under clouds cover now alI I feel rhythm-free rain over me

Terningkast 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ og en hel side i @aftenposten ! Whaaaaat, kjempestas! “It Floats er et album som forsyner seg av fortiden uten å la denne gjenta det gamle. Musikken går liksom forover og bakover i samme bevegelser. Mikoo er et band som sikter mot midten, men som treffer på steder som pirrer og henrykker, og albumtittelen er særdeles treffende. Dette flyter.” skriver Arild R. Andersen

SOFA607 Bøyning, brytning by Ivar Grydeland With his third solo record, “Bøyning, brytning” (“Bending, breaking”)—referring to how light curves and refracts—Grydeland now inquires into the waves, the myriad unpredictable ways in which they react to one another as they meet. His gambit here is a technical setup deliberately designed to elude his control: an environment of digital and analog gear, years in the tinkering, that is designed to generate erratic responses to Grydeland’s playing on a selection of guitars (pedal steel, electric, and Portuguese) and electronics. From this system, Grydeland develops a stark, glowing music that seems to originate, unhurried, from legions away, traversing peculiar angles to end up right next to the ear. Out on October 24th
