Lost in the vast beauty of Namibia ✨ From the surreal landscapes of Sossusvlei to the wildlife-rich plains of Etosha, immersed in the raw beauty of nature and humbled by its grandeur. Here, amidst towering sand dunes and ancient rock formations, I find solace in the simplicity of existence 🐘🇳🇦

This space has slowly become my little portfolio. I don’t post myself often because I’m usually the one behind the camera, but I thought it was time to say hi properly. Here’s a little bit about me, and thank you for all the love and support on my photography journey so far x
A magical moment that is permanently etched into my brain 🥹 This playful humpback calf approached us with a bit too much curiosity. I’m surprised I even got photos whilst trying to dodge its fins. Just a few weeks old and adorably clumsy, it reminded me how small we really are in the best and most humbling way.

Sometimes I get lucky and the ocean throws some cool stuff my way…....quite literally. Aboard @mitrepeakcruises these playful bottlenose dolphins were having a blast in the wake of the boat. The fact that I shot this on a 17-28 mm lens shows how close they were! Just another stunning day in Milford Sound.
This week we celebrated Earth Day, but in my world every day is Earth Day 🍃 Blessed to have witnessed Mother Nature’s beauty across the globe, from oceans to mountains, small critters to animals 100x my size. Hopefully many more Nat Geo-worthy adventures to come.
All shot on @sonyalpha
Milford Sound, the “8th wonder of the world” and it truly lives up to the hype! The wetter the weather, the better it gets… rain turns the cliffs into a thousand waterfalls and the whole place feels alive.
Aotearoa you’re beautiful, what a place to call home 🍃
A few quiet nights at @repose.nz .
Nestled in the forest in Dunedin, this cosy cabin is the the perfect autumn escape. Just a short drive to the beach, stunning sunset views, and if you swipe to the end, a little southern lights magic!
Definitely add this one to your New Zealand to do list.
Most of my shots come down to timing and just pure luck.
This moment happened aboard the historic TSS Earnslaw while crossing Lake Wakatipu. The captain angled the ship just right and for a split second the mountains lined up perfectly in the window.
I panicked trying to get the shot in time that I completely forgot to change my aperture, but in the end, not everything needs to be technically perfect in order for it to be special. Just another stunner evening in Queenstown!
Our version of an ocean blanket. These rays have zero sense of personal space, but that’s what makes swimming in the lagoon that much more special.
Timing was on our side for this shot, Alex laid down and we waited until a curious ray glided over her.
There’s no feeling quite like the moment a humpback whale approaches you with pure curiosity. Swipe to see a breach that lives in my head rent free, this was one of multiple breaches and the full footage can be found on @mekanphotography page 🐋 Definitely a ocean day to remember!

I’ve always been an ocean girly but I also adore the mountains. I recently moved to Queenstown and @allygracemoore was crazy enough to brave the cold to test out my underwater housing in the lake, I guess this was my way of seeing my two worlds collide!
Don’t worry, the ocean adventures will still continue but also be prepared to see some stunning scenes that New Zealand has to offer 🏔️
Two magical years since I started ocean photography and feeling very blessed for everywhere it’s taken me so far. More underwater adventures to come, hopefully this year I get a glimpse of great whites and orcas! 🦈
Extra shoutout to @trenny_m and @josh_burkinshaw for always being a helping hand and pushing me to improve.
