Hello! I’m Sophia, a live artist specializing in playful, cartoon-style portraits. My journey began in 2020, painting hand-customized shoes and bottles that reflected each person’s unique story. Over time, that love for personal touches has grown into a passion.
Today, I bring that same personal touch to weddings and special events, drawing guests live and creating thoughtful keepsakes they can take home. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing someone smile when they see their portrait feeling seen, celebrated, and part of a beautiful moment. It all started at my childhood bestie Olivia’s wedding at the Terrace Room.. and now we’re back one year later 🤍
I was supposed to just be a guest.. haha. But I had always dreamed of having a live artist at my own wedding. Then it hit me wait, I love to draw. So I just pitched the idea to Olivia, and she trusted me enough to let me try it at her wedding 🥹
I was so excited and so nervous.
But the moment I started sketching, something clicked. I felt a kind of love for art I hadn’t felt in a long time. Watching guests light up when they saw their portraits.. it felt like they were being seen in a really special way. And honestly, I felt seen too.
That feeling stayed with me.
My fiancé at the time wasn’t even sure if this would turn into anything. Fast forward to now my husband is by my side at most of my events, supporting me every step of the way. 💕
The first couple months after the wedding were quiet. I thought maybe it was just a one-time thing. But then friends saw my work on Instagram, shared it with their friends, and slowly, word started to spread.
And now… I’m fully booked for 2026. 🥹🎉
I never imagined this would be my path. But I took a chance on something I loved, even when I wasn’t sure where it would lead.
So if there’s something on your heart, something you keep coming back to this is your sign. Start before you feel ready. Trust the process. Keep going! 🤍
