@badbunnypr x @nfl SUPERBOWL LX 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷PUERTO RICO EN LA CASA 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷 words may not illustrate the depth of emotion i have experienced for the past twenty four hours . i am a first generation boricua on my fathers side and at a very young age , lost him to cancer . growing up in a culturally puerto rican household and feeling as though i had lost a part of me when he passed was such a difficult feeling for me to comprehend growing up . my father was a musician . i grew up listening to the legends like daddy yankee , tego calderon , don omar , ricky martin , shakira , marc anthony , elvis crespo and so many more . to be able to stand along side benito , someone as true to his culture , his people and his message is surreal . it has been a dream to represent my people and our culture on a stage as grand as this one . history has been made and to have been a part of it has been nothing short of a privilege and honor . i dedicate this to my father and to my ancestors who paved the way in order for me to be here to represent them . i heard their voices echoing in the stadium with me yesterday . i felt their arms wrapped around me as i stood with my fellow latinos representing all of our cultures. proud is an understatement . i am overwhelmed with gratitude . @charmladonna @karinaortiz_pr @_melanymercedes @itsjovannisoto @musikhoodtheory thank you for creating a sanctuary for us to stand fully in our power and in our cultures . thank you for the push to be our greatest selves throughout this process and reminding us how much bigger this is than us . your dedication and advocacy for us throughout this process does not go unnoticed and i am eternally grateful . to the cast . mi gente latino ! i have never felt so proud to stand along side a team like this . i felt held and seen by each and everyone of you and i am so proud ! cheers to us ! to all of my friends and family . those who have been there through the ups and downs of my life and have truly been my rock . i stand here representing all of you . thank you for your constant love and support .
