CASTING CALL! 🚨🎬🎭 Non-Union casting call for a psychological drama short titled “The Barn” Logline: A barn. A white room. As Marcus wakes chained to a table, an odd interrogator named Lowanburg guides him through fragmented memories of a past he no longer remembers. Characters: DR. LOWANBURG - Lead / Antagonist (Female, 25-50, Open Ethnicity): Composed, immaculate, and unnervingly calm. An interrogator conducting what she claims is a psychological trial, she maintains total control while subtly manipulating the test subject. Her politeness masks cruelty; her curiosity feels suspicious. She talks like a professional conducting an interview. Whether she is human, complicit, or something more abstract remains to be seen. GERRY - Supporting (Male, 40-60, Open Ethnicity): A cynical, chain-smoking technician overseeing the experiment. Obsessed with results, he treats the test subject less like a human and more like a machine. Highly intelligent, annoyingly sarcastic, and morally detached. MOOSE - Supporting (Male, 25-40, Open Ethnicity): Gerry’s partner in the experiment. More cautious, more human, but still complicit. He functions as the “almost conscience” of the operation, providing contrast to Gerry’s cold methodical nature. LOLA - Featured / Day Player (Female, 20-40, Open Ethnicity): A woman from the test subject’s past who carries a shocking secret. Her presence is accusatory and intimate. Shooting takes place March 13th-14th in the Greater Toronto Area, ON. Back to late Aug and Sept 2024, behind the scenes on the filming of Finch & Midland（今天應該很高興） Memories to hold for the crews and friends made along because of movies. Base was home this year, which felt fated in some way as I gear up for where 2026 will take me. I realized I live in the gray of many things, but that dichotomy is what makes me human, that life is coexisting truths and that to live is to experience both good and bad. I met so many new friends but lost a bestfriend, won the ticket war for Jon Bellion but almost got in a fight in NYC, went viral a few times but ended up on the news, crossed off a snowboarding trick but tore my arm, and opened myself up to new connections which honestly only solidified the things that I didn’t want, while simultaneously proving to me that the kind of love I yearn for does exist. The past couple years focused on looking inward, self discovery, finding my truth, but this year felt like I was actually living in it. I let go and let God, then everything came into alignment that it actually scared me lol. I’m scheming for the future, don’t get me wrong, I’m just no longer anxious and controlling of the outcome. I know it will all work out and it will fall into place as it is written. It’s the tail end of this cycle that I can practically taste these new beginnings and it smells like Closer by The Chainsmokers. Show me how good it can get, 2026, I know 2016 walked so that you can run. Lock in ✍🏽

I have a good feeling about 27… 💛 it’s been a month so far and already the living, laughing and loving has been abundant. Every year I swear God ups His game (on both sides of the coin) but I’m here for the ride! I’m grateful for every soul that has come into my life and brought their own little spice to this soup. I love you all so deeply I fear you’d never fully understand, and that’s okay :) I’m just happy you’re here

Busy summer Shoutout @sof_abud for the film photos

2025 summer SER - august tl;dr: lots of rewards, but i need the strength before the winter 📸: [6]: Ricoh GR III [10,11&12] Ricoh GR IIIx [rest] Fujifilm X-T5 w/ Fujinon XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR [warning: yapping ensues] this summer really gone by as fast as the winter lingers, gotta log in those sunset bike rides along the lake, or else the lake is gonna freeze over in no time i don’t know how but i don’t even think this month i have taken more than 5 days off, have to be careful before i am running on fumes, that’s what went wrong this time last year, got to watch out. new tools and new builds, man when that laser measure came in i felt so much more legit, bit by bit my ditty is more and more full, and there are less and less waste volume on my builds. some things change and many doesn’t, i am just grateful that it’s not me that didn’t change maybe i should start writing these raw thoughts down, there’s like a ssd full of photos that needed to see the light of day, i just need to really do this strategically and don’t look desperate, i hope Thanya will understand why this take so long, i hope she will see this and like what she sees, once again i need to take that first step, or all of these will just be lost in time nucleus-m mkii is lovely and all, but damn do i wish to use an ARRI, maybe i need that as my motivation behind posting, so at least the name will start to ring a bell this summer is great and all, great memories and company, i just can’t wait for her to be here in October. 31/aug/2025
