🌿 PLURIVERSO VIVO • Open Studio Thank you to everyone who joined us in the mountains of Caldas for this shared moment of encounter, listening, and reflection. Over the past weeks, the residency unfolded through quiet, attentive processes [walking, observing, cooking, rehearsing, conversing] where artistic practices intertwined with daily life, care, and territory. The Open Studio offered a glimpse into these living processes: still in movement, still becoming. (English below) PLURIVERSO VIVO 🌿 Durante tres semanas, en las montañas que pertenecían a los quimbayas, la residencia NEST ha reunido a artistas que también son madres*, junto a sus hijxs, para desarrollar procesos de creación en diálogo con el territorio, la comunidad y la vida cotidiana. El Open Studio + Conversatorio abre estos procesos al público como un espacio de encuentro y reflexión. Inspirado en la idea de un pluriverso —un mundo donde coexisten múltiples formas de conocimiento, experiencia y relación con la vida— este encuentro propone pensar el arte como una práctica situada: en relación con los saberes comunitarios, los ciclos de la naturaleza y las redes de cuidado que sostienen lo común. Las investigaciones que se comparten aquí exploran distintos gestos de esta relación: 💧 el cuerpo en diálogo con el paisaje y los ciclos naturales 🍫 la cocina y el alimento como espacios de memoria, transmisión y comunidad 🌱 la observación de los gestos cotidianos que construyen formas de vida colectiva. En un momento en que las fronteras entre naturaleza y cultura se vuelven cada vez más urgentes de repensar, Pluriverso Vivo propone detenernos en esas pequeñas acciones que tejen vínculos: caminar, cocinar, escuchar, cuidar, aprender del territorio. Welcome ✨We are excited to share with you our first steps. ECHOES OF CARE: A Flinta Motherhood Archive is a biannual journal-archive project that documents, makes visible, and preserves the experiences of motherhood* within transnational FLINTA* communities in Berlin and the world. Our proposal seeks to generate a space of collective memory, where stories of parenting, care, and resistance are recorded and disseminated through an intersectional and non-traditional archiving approach. As a Berlin-based magazine, we consider that the official publication language will be English; however, we would like to keep some testimonies/articles also in the native language, thus giving the journal-archive a marked multicultural perspective. We are claiming the importance of the mother tongue too. 📝We are in the first phase of our work, where printing and content revisions are still pending, but our identity is clear. We want to document the diverse and artistic realities of different motherhoods* We, @dianasalgadodesign and @sof.quesada , have decided to carry out this necessary project within the framework of the ABC incubator @abckultur @sorora_ev financed by Senat Berlin. "Cansancio" por @sof.quesada . Proyecto Maternidades* en la ruralidad. /RESIDENTS TERRA. “Más allá de las circunstancias y comodidades, como la que permite a Malvina acudir a la escuela rural y a mi darme unas horas de trabajo, sabía que el agotamiento iba a llegar. Porque es así la vida de madres* y el llevar este periodo sola con Malvina se ha comenzado a sentir”. “Cuando mencionaba al comienzo acerca del experimento de vivir esta maternidad* rural primero con mi hija, también significaba abordarme a esta aventura de criar~crear. Por supuesto lo sabía de antes, incluso por NEST donde hemos compartido, llorado y cansado hasta el hartazgo. El cansancio nos identifica y nos une. Es al fin, un motor de reunión. Porque nos hace acudir a otros, a pedir ayuda, y en el mejor de los casos a llegar a madres* que pasan por lo mismo. El criar en tribu no es más que hacernos la vida más fácil como madres*. ***** “En Cinctorres vi un gran apoyo entre las madres*. Luego de la escuela, todas van con los niñes al polideportivo “para que el día no se haga tan largo en casa” y los pequeños jueguen libres. Esa frase que una madre* me dijo, podría haber sido juzgada cruelmente por cualquiera que no sabe lo que es estar largo rato con un niñe”. “Las madres* se turnan para “echarle un ojo” y que otras puedan conversar y relajarse. No sabemos cómo funciona la rotación y quien mira a quien, pero funciona. Entre risas y cansancio, nos hacemos lugar y compartimos los días”. Almáciga. Associació cultural, convida a la mostra d'obres de la fotògrafa @sof.quesada que es realitzarà el dia dissabte 26 d'octubre en l'Oficina de Turisme de @ajuntamentdecinctorres a les 18:30h, serà una instància per a compartir processos creatius i les fotografies realitzades per l'artista, a més, d'una oportunitat per a dialogar sobre maternitat i ruralitat al poble de Cinctorres. Sofia ha participat de la residència artística internacional /RESIDENTS TERRA 2024 organitzada per Almáciga al poble de Cinctorres. Sofia ve des de Berlín (Alemanya) amb la seua filla de 5 anys, amb el finançament del programa Culture Moves Europe, European Union i el Goethe Institut. Ha desenvolupat una estada de creació i producció d'obra de Lloc Específic, s'ha plantejat establir un diàleg i retroalimentació amb la comunitat cinctorrana per mitjà del seu projecte fotogràfic “Maternitats* en la Ruralitat”. En /RESIDENTS TERRA, Sofía aprofundeix en la vida diària i les maternitats* en la ruralitat, i es pregunta: com és nàixer i créixer en un poble de no més de 500 habitants? Quines són les maneres de parir i criar en contacte amb la naturalesa? Com és la influència del territori en la criança? Sofia ha treballat l'element TERRA (terra) que constantment ha sigut modificat pels habitants de la muntanya per a la vida i des de la qual emergeix i se sosté, des d'aquest punt de partida ella ha traçat les seues estratègies visuals per a fomentar el diàleg amb les mares del poble i el seu procés d'investigació participativa, ha creat i produït obra en la seua convivència amb la comunitat cinctorrana durant un mes.
