Young brothers fight for their clan.
Partners volunteer as rescuers.
Mother and teen survive as refugees.
Children uncover their histories.
All still yearning for home.
In 2017, the Siege of Marawi led to hundreds of thousands to abandon their homes, hoping to return someday. But years later--today--Marawi remains a ghost town. ‘In The Remains’ follows Marawi's refugees as they trace their stories and the inherited histories of their war-torn city.
