JOSE SOCRATES DELOS REYES (he/him) @socratesdlr Jose Socrates Delos Reyes is a Filipino playwright and educator whose works have been staged in the Philippines and the UK. He graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University and is an alumnus of Tanghalang Ateneo. He earned his MA (Distinction) in Creative Writing: Scriptwriting from the University of East Anglia, where he was awarded the Snoo Wilson Prize for Scriptwriting. Young brothers fight for their clan. Partners volunteer as rescuers. Mother and teen survive as refugees. Children uncover their histories. All still yearning for home. In 2017, the Siege of Marawi led to hundreds of thousands to abandon their homes, hoping to return someday.
