We recently dropped off 40,000 pairs of socks for them to use in their programming and distribute throughout their network. Humans! Today is the first day in 10 years that I don’t have a sock company in my house! We loaded it all up and drove it down to our new warehouse this morning! We of course had lots of help from my minis, who have literally grown up beside this company. They don’t know our house without a warehouse in our basement and a shipping bay in our garage. I’m very excited.. We have a new warehouse and a new operations manager, and I can’t wait to get going! I’ve spent 10 years building this company, working 15 hour days, weekends, holidays, hundreds of exhibition loads, carrying box after box up and down my stairs at 2am.. Today that ends and another chapter begins. Thank you to our amazing customers for your love and support for 10 years. It’s meant the world to me to know you care. Shout out to my staff and everybody that helped build this thing alongside me. Shout out first to Indiana, who packed up her whole job and doesn’t get to come along for the ride. I’m sad about it, but life is long and you never know. Thanks for being you, I really lucked out. You’re going places, girl. Shout out to Topaz for everything you did and everything you are. You’re a legend. Shout out to Jessica for building this brand visually over many years, and Greg for being INTEGRAL to the growth. Shout out to Hope for CRUSHING and being right there beside me, and to Montse for taking this on and nailing it. Shout out to Kris and Kristy for your attitude and efforts, and to Christina for jumping right in. Yes, I hired Kris, Kristy, AND Christina, and they still trust me… Shouts to my guy Stefan, one of my best friends of all time, for saying yes 4 years ago and never once letting it come between our friendship. Shouts to my brother and best friend Joey for countless hours of hard work before anyone was getting paid, and for sticking with it for 10 years without question. Shouts to my parents for 10 years of support and encouragement, and to my kids for letting dad spend so much time building this for them. And most of all shouts to Johanna, the love of my life, who believed in me from day one. 3 kids and 3.5 businesses.. It’s been a long tunnel but I see the light.. Let’s goooo ✌️❤️🧦

That’s the face of a dream come true. One of my favourite pictures ever taken. The official Sock Rocket Launcher is no longer just a joke, it’s a very real liability. And one that I’m more than happy to take on in the name of good times. These folks mean everything to my business, and I’ll do whatever it takes to put a smile on their faces at the end of a long, hard holiday season. Well well well…. Things have been moving fast and heavy over here, and I’ll admit I haven’t been great at posting donation updates (or other updates for that matter). We’re actively working to solve that issue!! In the meantime, please allow me 30 seconds of your time to say that we’re ALMOST AT 1,000,000 PAIRS OF SOCKS DONATED over our 9 years in business. Thrilled to be able to donate 40,000 pairs of new socks to @siloammission in Winnipeg in partnership with the @manitobanurses union. MNU ordered some awesome custom socks from us earlier this year, and requested Siloam Mission as the recipient for the donations from their order. We got to talking with the agency and realized they had quite a massive need and capacity, so instead of sending 3,000 pairs as originally intended, we landed on 40,000 pairs to help tackle their constant turnover of socks. Every organization like Siloam Mission is a little bit different, but they all provide similar (essential) services to our communities, and they all have similar needs. Basic needs are basic needs, y’all, we’re here to say hey - you can make money as a business, but you can also use your position and revenue generation methods to do good in the communities in which you do business! Big shout out to the teams at Siloam Mission and the Manitoba Nurses Union!
