WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR CAN MAKE 😮💨! Officially down 100 pounds since my heaviest weigh in last February around 282.2 pounds.
My journey started after getting some not so great news during a routine checkup that my blood pressure was at Stage 2 Hypertension levels and I was on the road to becoming pre-diabetic. My doctor over at Kaiser said someone would be calling me to setup a follow up appointment for blood pressure medication. As someone who has lost both parents due to complications of diabetes, heart, and blood pressure related problems, this was a true wake up call. My thinking was to drop a few pounds before the appointment. Instead, I completely dropped an entire lifestyle and replaced it with a new one that has me feeling the best I’ve ever been both physically and mentally.
The funny part? I’m still waiting on that call from Kaiser 😂
