And untreated mental illness should not become a life sentence on the streets. 💔 At @favelamiami , we witness this reality every single day. I told him: “You should go back to school. Get your diploma.” I didn’t think he was listening… but he was. This weekend, he sent me an invitation. 🎓 His Graduation from Miami Dade College. And I was there… watching him walk that stage. From homeless… ➡️ to employed ➡️ to student ➡️ to GRADUATE. Let that sink in.
