One evening in Milan, we hosted Oggetti Vivi - a conversation between Maria Sole Ferragamo (@mariasoleferragamo ) and Silvia Stella Osella (@silviastella_ ) on process, projects, and the visions that move them, moderated by Paolo Ferrarini (@paoloferrarini_ ).
For the occasion, we opened our studio,
inviting everyone in to look closer at the small, quiet things that quietly shape our days here.
A warm thank you to everyone who came by🤍

To all the friends and curious souls who stepped in: thank you for sharing these magic moments with us :))
Lucemuta unfolds as a frequency, an installation where sound poetry and visual language merge into a single perceptual field. Light becomes sculptural, and the dialogue between solid and void is absorbed by the body, like a resonant chamber. Observation dissolves into immersion, light shifts into sound, lingering as a subtle vibration. The soundscape draws from the lamp’s materials, wood and leather, translated into muted, plucked tones, soft strings, and subtle, unobtrusive percussion, forming a light, almost lo-fi composition where fragments of poetry surface.

“I had long wanted to expand the collection into furniture and experiment with a different scale. I approach each design as a kind of organism, where nothing is purely decorative, every element has a function. Meeting Romeo Sozzi and the extraordinary craft tradition of Bottega Ghianda (@bottegaghianda ) made this transition possible. Bringing leather and wood, jewelry and furniture into dialogue felt both natural and deeply aligned with my research.”

For the launch of its first lamp, Lucemuta, during Milan Design Week, SO-LE STUDIO meets Bottega Ghianda (@bottegaghianda ), led by Romeo Sozzi, guardian of a craft culture rooted in rigor, precision, and exceptional quality. Maria Sole Ferragamo’s vision engages with Bottega Ghianda’s refined woodworking tradition, giving rise to a sculptural lamp that marks a natural evolution of the brand’s language - from jewellery to a more architectural and structural dimension of space.

Introducing the Edge bracelets. Born from a single surface, they bend and shift into jewellery. A line unfolds into form, retaining the clarity of its origin while gaining depth.
