I gotta admit — this session wasn’t my best work. Here’s why 👇
1. I forgot to color my model’s brows.
Brows are the frame of the face. Their shape and color affect the entire look, with or without makeup. In this case, I did the brows after complexion and missed a small detail that ended up affecting the whole result. On video, it looked fine — but in flash photography? Big no-no 🙅♀️
2. I wore contact lenses after mascara.
Wearing contacts after complexion is totally fine.
But after mascara? Please don’t 😅
It’s better to put them on before mascara (or even before makeup) to save time and avoid re-doing smudged mascara and complexion 🙂↔️
3. I forgot the under-eyes 🥲
Just like brows, under-eyes make a huge difference. They help the eyes look more alive and balanced — especially when you’re doing bold makeup.
4. Last but not least — the contact lens color.
I chose a lens that might be too bright for a soft glam look… but I’m still not 100% sure.
