Absolutely fabulous night last night at Gloucester PechaKucha night including community panel about culture in the city. I did my talk on DinoROAR and loved the other talks ranging from speed dating historical art forms to salad recipes to politics to mental health week and cycling to space! The youngest has discovered hair straightening- the 90’s called! Also they are the cool kid - I was never the cool kid! Everything suites them - I used to be fall over and put wholes in the knees of all my trousers sometimes of the first wear and get bike oil on my skirts pr even rip them in the bike chain and even when I straightened my hair it was somehow still an unruly mop! #prettyhairstyles #90shair #friends

The @kitten_tech noticed I was starting to collect and write from tarot and divination cards again and got me this cat pack - it has sat on the shelf for months - it was not the right time - Rosy’s departed human was big on tarot in a completely different way to me and would have probably disapproved of my large card collection but that’s ok because my mum disapproved of me having obvious tarot cards and not just playing cards or according to my great aunt if I was going to have cards I was supposed to design and make my own deck - and they disapproved of each others use/s and techniques and one has just gone and it was the anniversary of the other so… Rosy the Tabby looks like the cat on the box and likes the box so I opened them. Lickadee Split!!! I was very excited to see this My Little Pony - she was my first ever My Little Pony and I got her my 4th birthday I think and she stabled under my pillow until Sweaty who was Purple with iridescent crystal eyes appeared a few yrs later and became my favorite. We’ve been doing a lot of sorting of things in prep dor more sorting of things. Anyway it turns out I do not get to claim my toy back to go with my other bits on my trinket shelf as they have been claimed back by one of the kids and to be fair I did give all my toys except three to my kids so it is officially theirs anyway. #mylittlepony #the80scalled #toys #cute
Things are weird here because grief has many heads and sometimes lost is the only concept to be had. We are having a complicated time at the moment waiting for news that is being slow to arrive and the lack of action when we know there is a lot to do is hard. We are in a limbo of no mans land were the processes are all halted, but poised waiting to pounce. Acknowledging the difficulties in this path fate has set is part of handling the grief - it is going to be a long one. The kids are fine, the @kitten_tech less so - they are in waiting mode - we went to Sharpness Dock to do some of the waiting. #GoodGrief #landscape #gloucestershire
