Happy International Dance Day! ✨
Dance has never been just a day for me, it’s been my entire world. It’s taken me across the UK and throughout Europe, opened doors to work with renowned artists, directors, and teachers from around the globe, and given me the honour of performing alongside some truly iconic names, including knights of the realm.
I’ve had the privilege of dancing the great classical ballets, growing from corps through to principal, and even having new works created on me. Experiences I’ll never take for granted. Along the way, I’ve also been able to share my passion through teaching, working with everyone from complete beginners to seasoned professionals, and even stepping into role of ballet mistress for international stars.
What means the most to me now is bringing everything I’ve learned back home. Passing on that level of professional knowledge, insight, and real-world experience to the next generation, especially in a place where those opportunities didn’t exist when I was starting out, feels incredibly special.
I don’t just teach steps. I teach the artistry, techniques and the journey behind them, and I couldn’t be prouder to keep that legacy moving forward. 🩰
