Jonatan Snapir on turkulaislähtöinen taiteilija, jonka ensimmäinen sähkökitaralle sävellettyjä teoksia sisältävä albumi, ”Eberth”, julkaistiin marraskuussa 2024. Hänen aiemmasta tuotannostaan löytyy eri nimien alta elektronista, kokeellista ja raskasta musiikkia sekä video- ja äänitaidetta. Snapir tekee töitä monien artistien kanssa ja on lavalla ja studiossa kuin kotonaan niin kitaran varressa kuin live-elektroniikan äärelläkin.
Teurastamo Jazzissa kuullaan musiikkia Eberth-albumilta. Menetystä ja toivoa käsittelevän albumin keskiössä ovat vahvat melodiat, pitkät kerronnalliset kaaret sekä sähkökitara lukemattomine sointiväreineen. Jazzin, rockin ja kokeellisten tekstuurien välissä aaltoileva äänimaailma kutsuu kuulijan uppoutumaan syvälle tarinaan.

When we first encountered the Serge Synthesizer at Sibelius Academy in the fall of 2021, we were immediately captivated by its unique character and endless sonic possibilities. Today we’re happy to present ”Egression,” an 11-track album created entirely with the Serge Synthesizer. We would like to thank Alejandro Olarte, Andrew Bentley, YLE, Booa Music, Aleksis Raivio, Otso Kauniskangas and Serge Tcherepnin for making this project possible.
To celebrate the release, we’ve also created a sample pack featuring sounds that we feel capture the personality of this beautiful instrument. Available now at booamusic.com.

snapir and Ænie @aenie_tekh will release their long-awaited collaboration album "Egression" through Booa Music this February. The album was created entirely with a Serge Modular Synthesizer. The first single "2110: Ash Grey" will be out on January 29th.
