But today, especially as this beautiful little human and I have recently stepped into new chapters together, I just look at you in awe and want to say this:

I didn’t do this photoshoot to look pretty.
I did it to remember Who I am.
Every version of me showed up ✨
the little girl, the teenager,
the woman who had to learn the hard way, the one who broke, and the one who rebuilt.
The playful.
The powerful.
The sensual.
The soft.
The woman who was told to shrink… and chose not to.
The child who was once broken… and learned to feel safe again.
I took my womanhood back—
after the trauma, the silence… all of it.
And no, it didn’t happen overnight.
It was boundaries.
It was the kind of healing people don’t always understand.
It was choosing myself, again and again,
when it would’ve been easier not to.
It was letting go of the whispers and the judgments—even when they came from places that were supposed to feel like home.
If the younger versions of me could see me now…they’d feel safe. They’d feel proud.
And that means everything 🙏🏽💖
Now I’m raising two boys to be kind, emotionally aware, respectful men—
because the cycle ends here.
I’m proud of the woman I’ve become.
Not because it was easy…
but because I did the work—
and continue to, every single day.
