Fosters Needed!! (Or better yet, adopters!!)
We have 2 foster needs! If you can help, please reach out!
#1 Fern! Fern is a 10 week old bundle of fun! She loves other dogs and people, and is wicked smart and curious. She is going through her teething stage, so we will well stock you with toys and chews.
#2 Hope ♥️. This perfect little ray of sunshine has completed a board-and-train program and is ready of her next phase. She is about 2.5-3 years old. She loves all dogs, and was the dog they used in the shelter to test other dogs. She is a little timid with people at first, but warms right up. She is also sweet with kind children. We’re excited for her next great adventure.
Please let us know if you can help . We supply all the food, toys, treats, and gear- the snuggles will be free🐾

Yesterday afternoon we were asked to help with a German Shepherd puppy who popped out of a homeless encampment in Stockton. The gentleman that had him saw a group of kids nearby and handed them the puppy before fleeing the area.
At the drop of a hat Renee was on her way to Stockton to pick him up and bring him to me- and from there we went to VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group). The staff there are the absolute best, and truly the gold standard for Emergency vet care.
Once there, they helped remove approximately 50 tics from this poor baby. He was so calm and patient as they worked on him, stealing hearts by the second. He was offered some baby food, which he ate in record speed and went searching for more. This poor baby hadn’t eaten in some time.
After giving the green light in his health, we were off to home for a much needed bath and snuggle session. We played for a little bit and he was like a lamb, jumping and bouncing, bucking his backend around. Absolutely melting my heart.
So he’s here with me now, safe. Laying on my lap and licking my fingers as I tell the world about him. I believe he’s about 8 weeks old, and a German Shepherd Malinois mix, that’s just a guess though.
He is going to need a foster, or an adopter.
If you think you can help, please reach out by completing an application on our website, .
For now, we’re calling him Dusty.

Sweet Fern is about 10 weeks old and she is available for adoption.
Fern’s mother was very pregnant when she was placed on the euthanasia list. The rescue I volunteer with saved her, and Fern and 7 siblings were born into rescue at a foster home. Since then, she has been getting loved on and handled by our experienced foster, preparing her for a smooth transition to an adopter.
She is wonderful with other dogs, knows sit and is learning stay, is crate trained. She’s doing really well with sleeping through the night too. If you’re interested in learning more, submit an application on our website:

Yesterday we visited the Oakland Animal Shelter where we were asked to help with a few dogs. Today, we are asking for your help.
We met these 3 beautiful sable puppies. Two boys, and one girl. They’re about 4.5-5 months old. When I first met them, they huddled together in the corner of a room, growling at me and completely terrified. I’ve seen this act before.
But one by one, as I took than individually to an outdoor space, they accepted love. Some actually seeking it. These gorgeous babies have never known kindness, toys, or anything other than each other. They’re still young enough to forget their past and be incredible Shepherds, but we need fosters who can help. Watch the video in the comments to learn more about these puppies.
Then I met Oktoberfest, the real reason I visited the shelter. At around 1.5 years olds, he was surrendered by his owner because they didn’t have enough time for him. But shelter life is hard on dogs, maybe even more so for those who knew a home.
Oktoberfest is fun and goofy. He loves to play tug and prance around like a pretty European sports car. He loves affection and passes a handling test with 5 stars. Ears, toes, teeth, and hip extensions- he accepted them all. He needs work with basic obedience (he jumps and thinks sit means down 🤦♀️) and learning handler engagement, but he is treated motivated and eager! He is adoptable directly through the shelter too, you just need to make an appointment.
So I ended my day how it started, wanting to help dogs. This Mother’s Day, if you’re wanting to do the same, reach out! We provide all of the food and supplies, you provide the love and stability to a very deserving pup.

If you’ve been looking for a sweet, good natured puppy, we have her!
Sweet Meadow was born into our program, 1 darling girl in a litter of 8. I have to be honest, when puppies are born in an experienced foster homes it changes everything. They are socialized, held, and set to high standards of routine early. And that makes all the difference when transitioning.
Meadow loves to cuddle. It’s her favorite thing. She is soft with other dogs, never wanting to make waves. Between snuggle time, she is learning basic obedience in her foster home. She is very eager to please, and really just doesn’t want any problems. She is a very, very good girl.
At 10weeks old, Meadow is ready for her furever home. She would fit into any home that is ready for a puppy. Kids, cats, or other dogs will be no problem for this very soft and affectionate girl.
If you’re looking for something special, submit an application to adopt at and one of our volunteers will real out.

A glimpse into Hope’s transformation over the last 5 weeks. Hope was rescued from a shelter euthanasia list in Oakland, CA by the wonderful organization @snap.bayarea who then sponsored her for a board & train program with me. She initially displayed a lot of fearful behavior specifically around human touch/ interaction… indicating she likely had a very rough/ abusive start in life. Through a slow, safe, consistent, and predictable environment her kind and playful soul began to show itself. 🤍 this journey with her has been incredibly unique and healing to everyone involved. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to help transition these dogs into the next chapter of their lives 💖 Hope is currently available for adoption to the right forever family 🥰

Foster or Adopter needed!
Sheera’s foster is leaving for a long trip on May 13th and needs a foster (or better yet an adopter) during that time. Videos in the comments.
Sheera is a fun, affectionate, and easy going girl. Sheera is house broken, knows her basic obedience, and is easy on a leash.
Sheera is great with all other dogs, even small dogs, out and about but she does not like pushy dogs (or dogs that will challenge her) in the home. She has not met a kitty 🐈⬛.
Sheera is very food motivated and loves to show you how smart she is for a treat! Sheer settles very nicely in the home as well. We estimate she is about 3 years old.
If you’re interested in meeting Sheera to foster or potentially adopt, please reach out! She’s a great girl that will bring a lot of affection and joy into your home.
