IM FINALLY PAINTING AGAIN!! spent all summer in burnout, setting up my work space my printer and scanner and computer and everything ugh but here I am ! putting that art degree to SOMETHING !! a profile picture lol because the last one was over a year old and too digital looking for my new vibe. I've been LOOKING AT THIS for too long and I sort of HATE IT right now but I spent 3 days on it so I have to post it, regardless

Day !!!1! Snail :) this took me 18 hours. i admit, yes I worked on it early 💔done in gouache and then digitally altered a bit more! The bones were traced directly from a photo of some bird bones I found years ago that were sitting on my desk literally #snailstober2025

working very hard over here on illustrating new zines for @olyzinefest !!! If I work out the timing right I'll be debuting 6 new zines! most of them are small, but filled with love haha 😅 1. "I'm in Portland in my dreams" (a vent zine about missing Portland) 2. "Grocery List" (an illustrated grocery list! I love drawing food) 3. "My childhood plushies" (my favorite plushies as a kid and their stories) 4. "The Ladies" (chickens! technically just a re-illustrated version of a zine I made in 2023) 5. Illustrated life-cycle of a frog (micro zine, very tiny) 6. Illustrated life cycle of a strawberry plant (micro zine as well) Will also be selling my older zines at Oly zine fest, including "fucked up little guys" which is my most popular! Also hoping to table at other upcoming zine fests in the PNW!

Little bit of a tone shift for me but here’s a mini vent zine I made because I’ve been missing my college town of Portland a lot recently 😔Gonna be selling this at my booth at Olympia zine fest on May 30th! And hopefully in my shop as well ❤️ Illustrations done in gouache and digital.

I can't believe that today marks the one year anniversary of my senior thesis defense at PNCA. 🥺😭 I'm so overwhelmingly thankful that I had the opportunity to create something so meaningful for me. I miss PNCA and Portland every single day and I hope that some day soon I'll be able move back ❤️ Part of my presentation last year involved me projecting forward and telling everyone what I had planned for the future of my career. I think some of my plans have worked out so far, and of course some did not. I had so much burnout after I graduated, I didn't really draw again until October. I really struggled finding in-person work. I went through a fair amount of pet loss. My car broke down. But sooo much good has happened since then! I got a new puppy. I started my online store, and now have almost 200 orders! I've gained more of an audience here on instagram! I got to show my work in an amazing gallery show at Copper Wolf! I got a thesis-celebration tattoo (by @birdsolitaire )! I got to meet so many cool people at the Future of Games Summit! I met some really cool local artists and entrepreneurs at a small business workshop set up by Enterprises for Equity, in Olympia. I got chosen to be the featured artist at Olympia Zine Festival! and most recently, I've had the wonderful opportunity to be represented by @laylafallah at BookEnds Literary Agency. I'm so excited for what the future holds ❤️
